Songjiang intensifies efforts to attract more investment

A TOTAL of 168 new projects are going to settle in Songjiang District this year, the Investment Promo-tion Service Center in Songjiang revealed recently.

In February alone, 17 key new projects were contacted, covering areas such as intelligent manufac-turing, biomedicine, new materials, new energies, digital economy and smart terminals.

The investment promotion ser-vice center has sounded the drum of high-quality development by running hard to “invite in” and seek new opportunities for devel-opment by proactively “going out” in various ways.

Cheng Xiangmin, Party secre-tary of Songjiang District, has led the team to China’s various cit-ies with a series of “face-to-face” talks, seeking “point-to-point” cooperation opportunities and looking for “hand-in-hand” win-win development.

The team went to hangzhou in Zhejiang Province for a field research, and also visited the Zhe-jiang huace Group to have a better understanding of the industry of film and television culture.

In February, more than 100 com-panies gathered in Songjiang to attend the Shanghai Spring Summit. experts, scholars and entrepre-neurs from the economic, medical, financial and industrial fields fo-cused on “scientific innovation + industry” for further discussions.

“We will make better use of the hub function of the G60 Songjiang in Anhui Sci-Tech Park to integrate industrial elements and provide better investment services for the two places,” said Xu Benzeng, the park’s general manager.

Dai Zhong, director of the Songji-ang Investment Promotion Service Center, said that the district will focus on enhancing the integra-tion effects of the G60 Science and Technology Corridor, and attract investment by targeting advanced manufacturing and modern service industries.

Investment promotion activities in countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea and China’s hong Kong have been put on the agenda.
